COVID-19 has strong border restrictions in Asia, while Europe has thought of reopening the borders, another Asian country has decided to carefully reopen tourism and travel.

Malaysia

Malaysia is now allowing medical travelers to enter the country from July 1, this is a great way to let the travelers out slowly.

Entry Requirements

  • Medical tourists must Covid-19 PCR tested
  • MySejahtera app must be downloaded
  • The certificate requires from Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC)

Countries Allowed: Only to Medical Tourists and for others has not been announced

Maldives

The Maldives has opened the borders for international Tourism from 15 July 2020 and international flights have also been started.

 Entry Requirements

  • Without any restrictions, the Maldives has opened entry to all countries
  • In the Maldives, there is no test or quarantine upon arrival

Cambodia

  • Proof of medical insurance coverage
  • Related to Covid-19 $3000.00 US Deposit to cover potential expenses
  • Self-isolate for 14-days at their home
  • Another 13th day of self-isolation COVID-19 test will be required

Japan

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has officially given permission to open the border for tourism from August 1, 2020- allowing the countries to visit.

Entry Requirements

  • Health insurance should be cover 
  • Tourist have A valid visa; this will be issued for 30 days
  • Proof of return ticket
  • Proof of accommodation
  • A negative COVID PCR test and No older than 72 hours before boarding

Thailand

  • Upon arrival Thermal scans and temperature checks

Indonesia (Bali)

Entry Requirements

All tourists will be required a negative Covid-19 test, otherwise, their own expense will be tested upon arrival.
