Kaziranga National Park is famous for the home of two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses and is a major tourist attraction. Kaziranga is not just about having a Rhino.
I welcome you through the complete details guide to our Kaziranga National park to explore the other facets of viewing the national park.
Have you ever asked how it would feel if you went on a safari to the heart of a deep forest? Nothing to do! Spend time in the heart of nature and discover the splendor of the trees.
And you unexpectedly get to see a flock of exotic birds soaring over the far-off swamplands. The grass is gracefully chopped off by a bunch of eastern swamp deers.
It’s All About Pure Forest Experience
You can see a few Rhino horns behind the grassy elephants. A flock of Asian buffaloes with their newly born calves is on one side.
Suddenly, you’re rattled by an elephant’s noisy trumpets, not far from you. And you see a group of people sitting in a teak wood chair on the back of a massive elephant that leads them happily on a walk through the jungle. The definition above is neither an example nor a fairytale in a book. Indeed, there is such a spot.
About Kaziranga National Park
The Big One-Horn Rhinocéros, Royal Bengal Tiger, the Asian Elephant, Wild Buffalo, the Eastern Sumptuous Dog, and many other animals are a rare national park in Indian history. A large assortment of flora and fauna is provided by the grasslands, wetlands, and forests mosaic.
In 1985, the park was designated as a World Heritage Site considering the persistent diverse natural processes and the conservation of biodiversity.
Home of the Indian One Horn Rhino
The biggest sanctuary in the large One-Horn Rhino and 2200 rhinos in the National Park. If it seems like a tiny number, it’s about two-thirds of the global population. It’s like that.
When these endangered species were discovered in different parts of North India, they began to develop overly sporty or commercially precious horns due to the intense hunt. This carried on and reached a stage where the rhinos’ survival was almost extinct.
Safari Experience in Kaziranga National Park
The elephant safari is one of the most adventurous journeys you can enjoy in the mystical dense forest of Kaziranga. You can only see natural trees, birds, and wildlife in the wilderness on an elephant journey.
The open Jeep Safari was the only remaining option for me now. These Jeep Safaris are accessible for anyone in the high season, as opposed to the elephant safaris. The number of elephants is slightly smaller than the number of Jeeps on the trip.
